  • Pine Theater (Prineville, Oregon)

    Ali and Oniko Mehrabi wanted to add a second screen to show more new movies and increase customer traffic of their Pine Theater. But they were unable to secure financing. Craft3 provided funds to construct an addition for a second-story screen. This loan was made possible with capital provided by Meyer Memorial Trust.

  • Outlaw Energy (Sisters, Oregon)

    Craft3 provided Outlaw Energy with a bridge loan for delivery of a completed $1.3 million BTU pellet boiler system to Sisters High School. The installation replaced the existing commercial oil heating and hot water system for the 42,000 square foot high school. Sisters School District estimates annual savings of $36,000.

  • Healthy Benefits Market (Shelton, Washington)

    Craft3 provided Healthy Benefits Market with an Indian County Loan to cover start-up costs. Proceeds were used for equipment, inventory, and tenant improvement. Capital support for this loan was provided by The Ford Foundation.

    Craft3 provided Green Hammer with working capital for energy efficiency construction contracts qualified under Clean Energy Works Oregon, a home retrofit effort to create jobs, reduce pollution, and expand business opportunities.

  • Lawrence Goodell, Jr (Aberdeen, Washington)

    Craft3 provide Lawrence Goodell with loans to purchase the Pacific Rooster, a fishing boat used for crab, halibut, and black cod, and to assist with start-up costs. These loans were supported by an Office of Indian Energy and Economic Development (IEED) guarantee.

  • Wally and Mary Holmgren (Frenchglen, Oregon)

    The Holmgrens found a farm that would supply enough feed for their organic dairy, as well as others in the area. As long-time customers, Wally and Mary contacted Craft3 for a loan. Craft3 provided financing to purchase the 2,200 acre alfalfa farm located in Frenchglen, Oregon.

  • Craft3’s Home Energy Efficiency Loan through CEWO

    Through CEWO, Craft3’s Home Energy Efficiency Loan is available to homeowners in Oregon’s Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Multnomah, Tillamook and Washington Counties. Since 2009, Craft3 has provided over $27.6 million in loans to more than 2,100 homeowners.

  • Celestial Seafood (Newport, Oregon)

    Craft3 provided Scott Lager with a loan to start his own business, Celestial Seafood. He was able to refinance the Eclipse and retire existing debt. Additional funding was provided to purchase crabbing gear and equipment, pay for vessel maintenance, and for working capital.

  • Albina Opportunities Corporation (Portland, Oregon)

    With demand for services increasing, Albina Opportunities Corporation contacted Craft3 for a line of credit. Craft3 provided a loan to support AOC’s lending activities and portfolio growth. This loan was made possible with capital from SBA’s Intermediary Lending Pilot Program.

  • YMCA of Columbia-Willamette (Vancouver, Washington)

    While the YMCA waited for funds to become available for its aging Clark County facility remodel, it needed financing for up-front costs. Craft3 partnered with Impact Capital to provide a bridge loan to cover pre-construction costs. Craft3’s $2,500,000 loan was made possible through the Small Business Credit Initiative.

  • Cowlitz Family Health Center (Kelso, Washington)

    Cowlitz Family Health Center wanted to build a Kelso facility that offers primary medical care, behavioral health, case management and outreach services. It contacted Craft3 for financing. Craft provided a loan for tenant improvements, equipment, furnishings, and working capital.

  • City of Roses Disposal and Recycling (Portland, Oregon)

    In 2012, Craft3 and Portland Development Commission (PDC) prioritized small business lending within Neighborhood Prosperity Initiative (NPI) Districts and East Portland. Craft3 is pleased to make its first loan to City of Roses Disposal & Recycling for site improvements for an on-site material recovery facility.

  • CPoW Livestock Processors Cooperative Association (Odessa, Washington)

    Craft3 provided CPoW Livestock Processors Cooperative Association with a Small Business Credit Initiative Loan to purchase processing line equipment, fixtures and holding pens. This loan was made possible with capital from Washington State Department of Commerce to make loans to businesses unable to access traditional sources of capital.

    Craft3 made two loans totaling $350,000 to Mercy Corps Northwest to expand micro-lending efforts in the Pacific Northwest. These investments enable Craft3 to support micro-enterprise development and make a tangible impact to low-income entrepreneurs, including women, minorities, immigrants and refugees.

  • Northwest Natural Resource Group (Seattle, Washington)

    In 2002, Craft3 provided NNRG with a loan to promote its sustainable wood products in Washington. When NNRG realized they needed to create a sustainable business model that would explain the real benefits of conservation forestry, it contacted Craft3 for assistance. Craft3 worked as a consultant with NNRG to create a framework and business strategy that would maximize the organization’s mission impacts.

  • Tapiola Park Playground Project (Astoria, Oregon)

    The Tapiola Park Playground Project (TPPP), a volunteer effort, resulted in a new playground “imagined by children and built by community”. Craft3 provided the Tapiola Park Playground Project with a bridge loan to finance material purchases.
