In partnership with local government agencies, Craft3's Clean Water Loan is strengthening economic, ecological and family resilience.
Clean Water Loans help property owners invest in septic system upgrades that increase the value of their property. Properly treated waste water reduces sources of disease and environmental contamination in Hood Canal and Willapa Bay. By utilizing local septic professionals, the Clean Water Loan is supporting small businesses and creating jobs.
As of March 31, 2013, Craft3
- Helped 367 property owners repair their failing septic systems;
- Made over $8.5 million in Clean Water Loans;
- Treated 45 million gallons of waste water; and
- Contributed to the improvement of local shellfish harvest areas.
