Bruce Brooks, SVP

Bruce joins Craft3 as General Counsel charged with overall responsibility for its legal affairs and with providing advice and counsel to management, staff, and the Board of Directors regarding both business and strategic matters across the organization.

Prior to joining the Craft3 team in June 2016, Bruce formerly worked as general counsel for an early-stage technology company in Pittsburgh, PA and Seattle, WA and as a partner at Perkins Coie in its Seattle office.  Bruce also has held a number of other leadership positions operating at the intersection between business and community, including in financial services as an EVP of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle, in the public sector as Deputy Mayor for the City of Seattle, and as Director of Community Affairs for Microsoft Corporation.

Bruce received his AB and JD degrees from Harvard University and his MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles.  Throughout his career, Bruce also has made it a priority to engage in local and regional community activities, including his current service on the board of directors of the Equal Endowment for Justice supporting civil legal services for low-income individuals, families and communities in the State of Washington and as a former chair of United Way of King County and the Northwest Area Foundation.
