Maggie Kirby, SVP

Maggie Kirby is the Development Manager for Craft3. She plays a critical role in Craft3’s capital development activities and is responsible for managing the team’s efforts in developing a diverse and stable funding base for the achievement of Craft3’s annual and long-term performance goals. Ms. Kirby is involved with the research, planning and implementation of the organization’s fund development plan and works with the team to identify and cultivate potential investors and maintain existing funding relationships. She joined Craft3 in 2007 as the Mid-South Coast Strategy Coordinator, providing consulting services and lending program outreach to support and promote triple bottom line benefits for rural coastal communities in Oregon.

Prior to joining Craft3, Ms. Kirby worked with nonprofit organizations focused on natural resource conservation and environmental protection. She has specialized knowledge in nonprofit management, organizational capacity building and conflict resolution. Ms. Kirby graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. She holds a Masters of Urban and Environmental Planning with an emphasis in natural resource management and conservation from the University of Virginia.
