Nora Monroe

Nora is a Senior Accountant at Craft3, with responsibilities for daily cash transactions, posting in various systems, reconciling accounts and various other duties.

Prior to joining the Craft3 team in February 2015, Nora has worked in accounting for many years. Nora started her accounting field while working as a bookkeeper for a retail/wholesale furniture store. She then moved on to a home health agency where she started out just doing payroll and accounts payables and worked her way into becoming the Supervisor of Accounting Services. After making a decision to move closer to home, she worked for a school district doing strictly payroll and she soon found out that she missed the full cycle of accounting and started looking for a job that fulfilled her internal and external requirements. Nora feels strongly she has found that at Craft3.

Nora is currently working on her B.A. in Accounting and Finance through Western Governors University. Throughout Nora’s career in accounting, she has encountered several great mentors showing her the true meaning of accounting.

Craft3 is a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) providing loans that strengthen businesses, families and the environment throughout Oregon and Washington.
