Mon Szeto

Mon Szeto joined the Craft3 team in May 2016 as a Credit Underwriter. He provides underwriting support to Craft3’s team of Business Lenders, leveraging on his analytical and credit skills and passion to help emerging businesses.

He is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of diverse experiences. Mon has worked in the commercial banking and investment banking fields helping clients, and has served as a private equity and fixed income investment analyst in the insurance industry.  As a Finance Director of an Indonesian startup, he was instrumental in helping it go public on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.  Mon spent a decade working and living in East Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. One of his passions is working with young companies to determine and implement their financing strategies.

Mon is also a co-founder of East West Alliance for Education and Health that is developing educational programs to disseminate health information for pre- and post-pregnancy women in rural China and a Mandarin early learning center in the Seattle area.

He earned his B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and MBA from the University of Chicago, and is a holder the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  He also serves as the Treasurer for the Harvard Club of Seattle.
