Michael Wu

Michael joined Craft3 in July of 2013. He was brought on as an IT Director to advise senior management on IT strategies to achieve organizational goals, analyze market and competition and identify external threats and opportunities.

Prior to joining Craft3, Michael was the technology lead for another local nonprofit in Seattle that services businesses in the Puget Sound region for 14 years. He received his BS in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Washington and his MS in Telecommunications & Networks Management from Syracuse University.

Michael is passionate about applying technology to create solutions for community development organizations. He felt fortunate to have the opportunity to work with people at Craft3 who had the same passion and values. When he is not solving complex computing challenges, Michael like to spend time with his family, enjoying the great outdoors and traveling.

Craft3 is a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) providing loans that strengthen businesses, families and the environment throughout Oregon and Washington. With capital support from financial, philanthropic and religious institutions and corporations, government agencies and accredited individual investors, Craft3 has invested more than $400 million in Northwest communities since 1994.
