Bruce Brooks
Bruce Brooks joined Craft3 as President in October 2021. He has leadership responsibility for the organization’s strategy, innovation and evaluation efforts, capital development work, and legal and external affairs. Bruce also provides direct support to the CEO for overall operations and is a member of the Executive Management Committee.
Previously, Bruce was a General Partner with Perch Partners, a strategic brand advisory and management consulting firm. There, he provided business and strategic advice to clients and had overall responsibility for the firm’s operations, finance, human resources, and legal functions. Prior to joining the Perch Partners team in September 2019, Bruce served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Craft3 where he was responsible for all legal affairs, providing advice and counsel to the Board of Directors, management and staff, and a member of Craft3’s Management Committee.
Over the course of a diverse business and legal career, Bruce has held a number of other senior leadership/C-Suite roles, including Deputy Mayor of the City of Seattle; Chief, Legal and Business Affairs for an early-stage, venture-funded technology company in Pittsburgh and Seattle; and Executive Vice President and Director of Community and Corporate Services for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle.
Bruce received his AB and JD degrees from Harvard University and his MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles. He also has made it a priority to engage in community and philanthropic activities, including his current service on the board of directors of the Equal Endowment for Justice supporting civil legal services for low-income individuals, families and communities in the State of Washington, his stint leading Microsoft Corporation’s philanthropic efforts as Director of Community Affairs, and as a former board chair of United Way of King County and the Northwest Area Foundation
