Septic system owners who need to repair or replace their on-site systems now have more financial tools available.
Clean water loans are available through a program partially funded by the Washington State Department of Ecology and operated by Craft3. The program’s members include numerous Washington counties, including Clark County.
Craft3, a regional nonprofit lender, is offering low-interest loans with flexible terms.
The program has helped finance the repair or replacement of more than 300 septic systems since it was launched in 2016.
Clark County Public Health has information available for septic system providers to be made available to their customers.
Clark County doesn’t make the loans or manage funds. But interested property owners can visit the county’s or Craft3’s websites to learn more about applying.
