Clinicare

Craft3 helped Dr. Jessica West transition Clinicare, a 30-year old walk-in clinic, into a primary care facility to help with the shortage of family doctors on the Olympic Peninsula.
Craft3’s strategic focus on essential services in PNW communities means we care about preserving access to healthcare.

Clallam County almost lost a critical resource when David Kanters, ARNP — previous owner of Clinicare on Front Street in Port Angeles — wanted to retire (for a second time).
Fortunately, Dr. Jessica West was looking for a way to start a private practice and the two providers made a succession plan arrangement that was beneficial for both providers — and most importantly — the community.

Clinicare, which has been a walk-in clinic for 30 years, will now be transitioning into primary care to help with the shortage of family doctors on the Olympic Peninsula.

The clinic will still serve the occupational medicine needs of the region and will soon be billing select insurance companies. Dr. West was able to make this change and make her services more widely accessible thanks to a working capital loan from Craft3.

We don’t wish anyone bad health, but if you need a doctor in a pinch, check out Dr. West at Clinicare!
