Couple of Chefs Catering & Food Truck

Impressed by Allen and Joile's enthusiasm and demonstrated ability to grow in a difficult industry, Craft3 provided Couple of Chefs with a loan to purchase restaurant equipment and make the improvements necessary to open Bruncheonette.
Allen and Joile are a husband and wife team that started Couple of Chefs Catering & Food Truck in 2011. Even though they primarily operate out of Spokane, Washington, they enjoy traveling all over Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho for catering and food truck events. Together, they have over a dozen years of experience and knowledge of all things savory, sweet and operating their company. Their love of local, quality and great tasting food always pushes them to make only the best for any events where Couple of Chefs appears.

The Chefs knew a brick-and-mortar addition to the popular food truck in Spokane would be a great way to grow the business. They set out to open Bruncheonette, a casual-dining gourmet brunch restaurant to be located on West Broadway.

The menu – based on the style of Couple of Chefs Food Truck, which was voted by readers of The Inlander as the best food truck of 2016 – will continue to focus on utilizing quality ingredients and made-from-scratch components as much as possible. The new physical location will also allow Couple of Chefs to expand their catering and further establish their gourmet food truck presence.

Impressed by Allen and Joile’s enthusiasm and demonstrated ability to grow in a difficult industry, Craft3 provided Couple of Chefs with a loan to purchase restaurant equipment and make the improvements necessary to open Bruncheonette. This investment was possible with financial support from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and a loan guarantee from U.S. Small Business Administration.
