Downtown Health Center

Family Medicine of Port Angeles and Olympic Medical Center created the Downtown Health Center with a $4.9 million loan from Craft3.

After outgrowing their separate facilities, Family Medicine of Port Angeles and Olympic Medical Center created the Downtown Health Center (DHC). The 15,891 square foot medical facility houses FM’s clinical operations and x-ray, physical therapy, patient education and chronic disease management services.

DHC is in Port Angeles’ downtown waterfront, an area with a large low-income and homeless population. Along with several state and federal assistance programs, services provided at the facility greatly benefit this population. In addition, its location on the bus line greatly improves access for the 30,000 annual visits from Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Sequim residents.

Craft3 utilized the federal New Markets Tax Credit program to invest $4.9 million in the Downtown Ambulatory Health Center. Capital for this investment was provided by First Federal Savings and Loan.

Our investment in Downtown Health Center strengthens economic, ecological and family resilience by increasing entrepreneurship, supporting economic growth and opportunity, and strengthening access to essential services. Learn more at
