Taala Fund is a certified Native Community Development Financial Institution (Native CDFI) that is focused on improving the quality of life for Quinault tribal members, on and around the reservation, through financial coaching and loans. Taala Fund is an independent non-profit helping the Quinault Indian Nation reinvest into its people in a non-political way, promoting business development, building revenue producing assets and is part of the solution to re-circulate dollars on reservation.

It offers loans for microenterprise, small business and consumer-credit builder. Services include business and consumer financial training, loan application assistance and the Whalši ialaš (Save for Tomorrow) education program for savings, asset building and business.

Programmatic success resulted in a wholesale loan from Craft3. This wholesale credit facility allows Taala Fund to grow and serve the expanding needs of their market.

Our investment in Taala Fund strengthens economic, ecological and family resilience by supporting economic growth and opportunity and minimizing impacts on nature. This loan was made possible with support from the Ford Foundation.

Taala Fund used Craft3 financing to create positive impacts in its community. This tribal nonprofit assisted ten businesses that created or retained 13 jobs. It projected 30 educational slots and minimized environmental impact.  Learn more at www.TaalaFund.org.
