Taxes D & Notary

Craft3 provided woman-owned Taxes D & Notary with working capital to purchase signage, upgrade equipment and train staff for the upcoming tax season.
Like many, Diana Gomez and her family depend on a tax refund for a financial boost each year, but filing fees are expensive and inconsistent, and there’s very little explanation of IRS regulations and how returns are calculated.

Frustrated, Diana set out to learn all she could about taxes and filing returns, eventually earning an Accounting and Business Administration degree so that she could help others who struggled like she and her family did. She began preparing personal and business tax returns from a home office, promoting financial education among her family, friends and community.

As word got out in the Tri-Cities Hispanic community, demand for her services grew. Diana opened Taxes D & Notary in Pasco where she and her small team could offer tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll and notary services. And when she needed financing for improvements at her new office location, the U.S Small Business Administration referred her to Craft3.

We recognized Diana’s passion for helping her community and her proven ability to deliver in-demand services. Craft3 provided Taxes D & Notary with working capital to purchase signage, upgrade the computer equipment and software, and hire and train staff for the upcoming tax season.
