Adam leads Craft3 in the work of investing impactful capital, building change-focused relationships, and amplifying voices that are calling for an equitable and prosperous Pacific Northwest. Since Adam became CEO in 2016, Craft3 has thrived and grown, adding key staff, expanding our programs and products, and diversifying our base of funders and investors. Adam is committed to fostering a thriving and equitable Pacific Northwest, while also building an equitable and enduring organization.
As a native of Eastern Oregon, a University of Oregon graduate, and a long-time resident of rural and urban regions of the Northwest, Adam sees firsthand both the long-standing regional inequities that plague us, and the opportunities we have to work together and invest in a better future. For Adam, “the best feeling” is “when our borrowers and partners succeed and when we get to accompany them on that journey, providing capital, support, and encouragement.”
In his non-work time, Adam is a father, occasionally a sailor, surfer and cook, but not necessarily in that order. Before joining Craft3, Adam earned his keep by pouring concrete, delivering pizza, washing dishes, tuning skis, working in a group home for neuro-diverse adults, cooking in an institutional kitchen and picking strawberries — but not all at once.
