Diana Chavez

As Senior Business Lender, Diana builds relationships with borrowers and supports them through all stages of the loan process, from application to repayment. In this role, Diana is able to share her strengths as a connector. She reflects, "I’m excited when I get to partner with an entrepreneur or nonprofit leader to come up with a solution to a challenge and assist them in reaching their goals.” This is especially true through her work as Craft3’s main lender for BuildUp Oregon team, a collaborative focused on providing facilities funding for early care and education programs.

Before joining Craft3, Diana worked at other nonprofit financial institutions, such as Nonprofit Finance Fund and Working Solutions. She was drawn to Craft3 for our team, local focus, and impact: “Craft3 finds a way to finance individuals and organization who experience the biggest barriers to accessing capital, creating opportunity and more equitable communities.”

She enjoys seeking out and supporting local food and craft vendors, walking to Mt. Tabor to appreciate nature, and dancing—she is currently learning to dance Flamenco.
