Lisa Dow

Lisa Dow is an executive vice president and the chief risk officer of Columbia Banking System and Umpqua Bank. She held the same position at Columbia Banking System and Columbia Bank from 2018 until 2023’s merger with Umpqua. Lisa is also the executive sponsor of Umpqua Bank’s Women’s Resource Group, which is an employee resource group. Prior to serving in her current role, Lisa held a variety of roles in banking at several financial institutions in the Pacific NW. Her past roles include chief banking officer, regional credit administrator, credit services manager and senior credit administrator.

She began her 40-year career in banking in San Francisco where she spent over 10 years in commercial and corporate banking. Her background includes extensive relationship management roles focused on a broad spectrum of products and services from small business loans to syndicated credits.

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in economics and international business from the University of Puget Sound and her MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. She serves on the board of trustees for the Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation, which is connected to Legacy Health, and she sits on the advisory board for Grand Central Bakery, a Certified B Corporation. Lisa is a prior board treasurer for the Columbia River Economic Development Council, and she is a founding member of Empower Women + Girls in Clark County. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys travel, whiskey, wine, trail running, and golf (though not necessarily in that order).
