CDFI Certification
Craft3 is a non-profit community development financial institution (CDFI) that uses capital, relationships, and voice to build a thriving, just and empowered Pacific Northwest. We invest in people, businesses, and communities, and work towards a future of shared prosperity across our region. Craft3 has maintained a certification from the CDFI Fund for more than two decades.
Community Development Financial Institutions – or CDFIs – are certified by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s CDFI Fund. All are mission-driven financial institutions that provide financial services to meet the needs of economically disadvantaged individuals within underserved communities.
Aeris
In 2008, 2011, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022, Aeris conducted an audit of Craft3. In our most-recent audit, Craft3 received a four-star impact performance rating, policy plus rating, and A+ rating for financial strength and performance. See our Aeris Rating Certificate.
Aeris provides a comprehensive, third-party assessment of community development financial institution (CDFI) loan funds, helping investors evaluate opportunities that meet their impact goals and risk parameters. Aeris ratings draw on Aeris’ deep expertise and leverage a proprietary system for assessing CDFI impact and financial performance, risk and mitigants.
ImpactAssets IA50
In 2012, 2013, 2015, 2019, 2021, and 2022, Craft3 was selected for inclusion in the ImpactAssets 50 (IA50), a publicly available online resource for impact investors and their financial advisors to identify experienced investment firms and explore the landscape of potential investment options.
