Strengthening rural communities

"Our underwater treadmill has been essential to our growth. It has expanded our reach, strengthened client trust, and played a key role in building a sustainable, growing rehabilitation practice"

Haley and Jennaka had spent a combined 20 years working in emergency medicine, specialty care, and rehabilitation. They knew exactly what they wanted to build: a companion animal rehab practice in Mount Vernon, Washington, centered on an underwater treadmill for post-injury recovery and conditioning. This would fill a known gap in their rural community.

What they didn't have was a business track record. That made traditional lenders a dead end. Craft3 saw two licensed vet techs and certified rehabilitation therapists with deep expertise, a specific and valuable service, and a clear plan for how the equipment would drive revenue.

Before we made the loan, a Craft3 business services coach worked with Haley and Jennaka on their projections and cash flow — mapping out realistic ramp-up timelines, month-by-month scenarios, and what a slower-than-expected start might look like. That process gave the owners — and us — confidence the business could work.

A Craft3 loan let them purchase specialized equipment and cover some construction costs. Haley and Jennaka explain: "Our underwater treadmill has been essential to our growth — it allows us to help dogs regain mobility and stay active in a way that's gentle on their joints."

Stellar Motion opened its doors in early 2026. Not every strong business fits a bank's checklist — but Haley and Jennaka did the work. We helped them build the plan. Now they're building the business.
