Erika oversees Craft3’s lending for Essential Community Services and is also deeply involved with its conservation lending in Washington. She has had a long career in CDFIs and is deeply committed to “bending the arc of the universe toward justice.”
“The best day at work would be a trifecta: 1) meeting someone who describes a financing need that Craft3 can help with, 2) hearing from a borrower after we close their loan how much the financing means to them, and 3) learning from a former borrower that they have "graduated" to traditional financing or achieved some other milestone.”
Erika moved to Washington in 2014 to join Craft3. “I love the Olympic Peninsula and am so proud that our work helps preserve and sustainably develop all that makes the peninsula and the PNW such a wonderful place to live and work.” She is active on the Boards of North Olympic Land Trust and North Olympic Development Council and is an avid gardener and cyclist.
