Mark leads our New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program, after previously spending five years as Craft3’s Chief Financial Officer. In his role, Mark is responsible for all aspects of our NMTC program which provides businesses, developers, and nonprofits with the necessary gap capital to spur investment in economically distressed areas.
Before joining Craft3, Mark was a banker for 35 years, including ten as the CEO of a locally-focused community bank. Mark tirelessly strives to make a difference in his community through his work at Craft3 and volunteer commitments. He serves on the Board of the Jessie F. Richardson Foundation and Age+, two organizations that provide asset-based community development services and housing to support the elderly who lack resources, networks and the support needed to lead active and healthy lives.
