Maya Cutforth is the Organizational Development Manager at Craft3. Based in Seattle, she supports supervisor and talent development, applies an equity lens to people and culture practices, and helps ensure staff feel connected and supported. Maya approaches her work with the same care she brings to her close relationships: “Being a good friend and family member matters most to me. I’m very invested in showing up for them as they’ve shown up for me.”
Originally from Denver, Maya studied American Studies, Africana Studies, and Spanish at Cornell University. She’s proud to work alongside colleagues committed to creating a just and thriving Pacific Northwest. “I’m particularly grateful to see how Craft3 puts theory into practice by supporting diverse communities in building wealth and fighting climate change.”
Outside of work, she enjoys trail running, yoga, reading, and baking — “chaotically,” she adds. She also volunteers with ElderFriends and loves learning about Seattle history to better understand her role in shaping the city.
